The Granary Hotel Wrocław, formerly the Herren-Malzchoff granary, is a 16th-century building of significant historical value. Constructed in 1565 after the city acquired the property from Count Rozdrażewski, it was subsequently leased to various tenants. In 1796, the granary was integrated into a brewery located on Słodownicza Street in central Wrocław, where malt production continued until 1904.
During World War II, the future luxury hotel suffered severe destruction, but it was a fire in 1970 that ultimately devastated the walls of what is now The Granary - La Suite Hotel. The abandoned and neglected granary on Mennicza Street gradually lost most of its distinctive features over the years. What remained, however, testified to the building's impressive scale and unique design, which now characterize the boutique hotel.
Situated in the historic center of Wrocław, the structure underwent a remarkable transformation thanks to meticulous and innovative restoration efforts. As a key landmark in the city, it now draws the attention of travelers once more, offering exceptional accommodations and dining experiences at one of Wrocław's finest restaurants.
